Acceptable Use Policy

Students absent from class are expected to make up assignments within 1 (one) week.

1. For each major exam, the grade may be made-up (retaken) one time if the student is unhappy with the results.
2. Exam make-ups must take place within 1 (one) week of the original test date.
3. Taking an exam for the 2nd time means that the 2nd grade replaces the 1st permanently.
4. Exam retakes are done after school in room 322 - or - if a majority of the class is retaking - in the normal classroom on a designated day.
5. Quizzes may NOT be made-up - unless the student was legitimately absent.
6. Homework assignments when due, may NOT be made-up - unless the student was legitimately absent.
7. All assignments missed due to legitimate absence must be made up with 1 week.
8. Late arriving assignments are penalized 1 (one) letter grade per day of the original deadline date.
9. Labs and projects may NOT be made-up unless a student was legitimately absent.
10. Labs make-ups must take place for safety purposes after school under the auspices of the classroom instructor in room 322. - or by arrangement with the instructor.
